Biographies:

Dr. Arun Gulani is a refractive surgery specialist and Founding Director of the Gulani Vision Institute. Formerly, Dr. Gulani was Chief of the Cornea Service and Assistant Professor at the University of Florida School of Medicine. Dr. Gulani has traveled throughout the world to teach his surgical techniques.

Dr. Jonathan A. Staman is a graduate of the University of South Florida College of Medicine. Following his ophthalmology residency at LSU/Ochsner, Dr. Staman completed a vitreoretinal diseases and surgery fellowship at The Foundation for Retinal Research. Dr. Staman joined the Florida Retina Institute in 2013.

 

 

Dr. Leo P. Semes is a professor of optometry at The University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Semes is a graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry and completed a residency at the Eye Institute of PCO. Dr. Semes is the founding member of the Optometric Glaucoma Society and the Optometric Retina Society.

 

 

Dr. John McClane, III has practiced optometry for over 30 years in Fernandina Beach, Florida. Dr. McClane is the past President of the Florida Optometric Association, and has been honored as Optometrist of the Decade in 1998. Dr. McClane has also previously served on the Florida Board of Optometry.
