Biographies:

Dr. Abdallah Jeroudi earned his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine and completed an ophthalmology residency at Emory University. Following residency training, Dr Jeroudi completed a fellowship at Emory and further The Retina Institute in St. Louis. His research interests include uveitis/ocular inflammation, complex retinal detachment, and novel vitreoretinal surgical techniques/instrumentation.


Dr. Alan Kabat is professor of optometry at Southern College of Optometry. He was an associate professor at Nova Southeastern University from 1993 to 2013. For almost the past 25 years, Dr. Kabat has served as a member of the optometric faculty, lecturing to students on various topics including ocular pathology, systemic disease, and refractive disorders. He received his Doctor of Optometry Pennsylvania College of Optometry and his Bachelor of Science (BS) from Rutgers. Dr. Kabat has had over 200 articles published.

          

Dr. Brian Den Beste received his B.S from Northwestern College and went to optometry school at Illinois College of Optometry.  He was a staff optometrist at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute shortly after graduation. In 1996, he became the president and Founder of 1st laser refractive center in Orlando. He is currently the president of Lasik Pro, Refractive Surgery and Ocular Disease Center. In 1988, he was awarded Florida’s Optometrist of the Year and is the former president of Central Florida Optometric Society.


Dr. John Mclane III received his undergraduate at University of Florida and Doctorate of Optometry at Illinois College of Optometry. He began practicing in Fernandina Beach, Florida with his father in 1979.  Chairman of the Board 2002-2006 for Florida Board of Optometry, President 1991-1992 of FOA, President 1987-1988 of NEFOS, Florida Optometrist of the Year in 1993 and Florida Optometrist of the Decade for 1998.
